Robert Chen co-founded PingPong in 2015 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. As CEO, Robert is focused on transforming the payment industry to make selling easy everywhere in the world for e-commerce sellers. Prior to co-founding PingPong, Robert’s career included 10 years as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting in New York. Robert holds a M.S. in Mathematics from University of Connecticut and a B.S. in Mathematics from Fudan University in Shanghai.
Ning Wang serves as the Chief Business Officer. In this role, Ning is responsible for business strategy and partnership development outside of China. Previously, he served as Head of Business Development for Alipay U.S. and Head of Finance for PayPal China. Ning holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Danielle Kuhn serves as the Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Danielle is responsible for managing daily operations in addition to designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures. Previously, Danielle spent 6 years at Deloitte Consulting designing solutions for financial institutions related to operations, risk management and finance. Danielle holds a B.B.A in Actuarial Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Holly Flocker serves as the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Legal. In this role, Holly is responsible for identifying and reporting enterprise risks, setting information security protocols and monitoring regulatory developments. Previously, Holly was a Manager at Ernst & Young LLP where she provided consulting services and audited financial service companies. Holly holds a B.B.A in Actuarial Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Julia Yao serves as the Chief Compliance Officer. Julia leads the AML compliance program which includes Know Your Customer (KYC), transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, internal training, alert review, and reporting & recordkeeping. Previously, she spent 7 years as a compliance manager at PayPal China and also 1 year at Ria Financial. Julia holds a B.S. from Shanghai Jiaotong University and an MBA from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Greg Umhoefer serves as the Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Greg is responsible for financial reporting and execution of PingPong’s cross-border payments. Previously, Greg spent 5 years at Ernst & Young LLP in a consulting role providing advisory and audit services to insurance, reinsurance, and banking clients. Greg holds a B.B.A. in Actuarial Science and Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
